What the…..?

Have you ever gotten up in the morning when its still dark out. You know those mornings when your eyes just don’t want to focus. You don’t want to turn on the lights cause its just to much to bear? You stagger to the coffee maker still kind of feeling your way. Then in your half dream like state you come up to something on the floor that makes you stop. It’s 5:30AM you know it can’t be anything good, you know you have two kids, two dogs and a parrot in the house, the possibilities of disgusting things are endless. Do you dare turn on a light and look? Do you just go around it and deal with it later? Do you say a little prayer that its something easy to clean up?

Lucky for me I’m still in bed and the poor soul left with the dilemma is Bruce. He’s seen it all, so without a second thought he bends over picks up the item and casually says I found a piece of tail. Then tosses it away. Even being half asleep, I manage to get the words out, DON’T TOSS IT!! I got to see it. He dutifully picks it out of the garbage and saves it for me to inspect later. Even a tail won’t get me out of bed that early.

Now in the light of day after careful consideration and a search through the house and the yard I still have no clue as to who did what and to who. The dogs look innocent the cats were all outside and the bird ain’t talking. If any of you have any ideas let me know. It’s the wrong color for a raccoon and the stripes are wrong for a cat so I’m stumped. I’ll let you know if the body ever turns up.

Yikes!!! Could it be a porcupine tail? You have a lot of inherit joke players in your house, Hmm which one would do this? I of course have a prime suspect in mind as far as how it got on the kitchen floor. Your woods hold many secrets, things that go bump in the night. Love MOM
