Cookie anyone?

We are buying a Cookie ahahahahaha. I know it just sounds funny when I put it that way. We want a horse, but since were not really horse people we decided to start small. Real small, like Great Dane small, a nurse I met at the hospital where I work breeds miniatures. She trains them and spoils them rotten. Since it would be nice to have someone close to us to help and give advise I figured this was a way to get started. She has big horses too but I don’t think we’re ready for that yet. Even I sometimes know my limitations. She showed us how to do the fencing cheaply and we got lots of information on feed and worming. Justin isn’t thrilled with the name Cookie, me either, especially since she looks like she could be food for a stray coyote.

There are lots of fun things we can do with Cookie in the future. The breeder has a cart that miniatures can pull. It’s cute, looks like a small Amish cart. The miniatures can pull up to 300 pounds if they’re not to small. I could use her as a pack animal. Think of all the things she could carry on the trail. I could have her fertilize all my garden. See, there are lots of things to do with a little horse. The best thing is scratching them. Cookie has been trained to sit and lay down. She is very laid back, doesn’t kick or bite. I’m getting all excited to get her here.

First thing we have to do is fencing. Then we need to build the stall. The breeder is going to hang on to her till we’re ready she has plenty of room so there’s no rush.

Look how cute. Can you guess which one is her?

Even Bruce thought she was cute!! She’s only 8 months old so the baby has lots to learn. We hope we don’t do anything wrong.

Hi down there. Cookie is adorable, she will need company up there on the hill. The artists are at work with all the scary things, you all do have lots of fun when you are not working. Thank goodness darkness demands a less physical exertion. Your fish is not adorable, agreed? Does it bother the ducks? Looks like you need a lot of rain to beautify your pond (However, the old proverb says be careful what you ask for, comes to my mind)…Tomorrow is October, it’s hard to believe. Enjoy, it is a beautiful time of the year.
    Love to you all, Mom

You should get Cookie a minature goat to keep her company! Your place is looking beautiful.

How do you go on vacation with all the animals? They don’t allow Cookies on cruise ships.
